Cupcakes

On February 1st, we had an ultrasound for our baby. It was wonderful to see our baby. Everything was perfect all ten toes and fingers were accounted for. How different this baby is from Franke is amazing, and to all tell the difference already is more amazing to me. The baby did not want to change positions during the U/S. The tech was very creative to get all the pictures she needed.

That day was also our anniversary. We celebrated with very nice dinner at Andiamos. Thanks dad and Jan for the gift certificate! At dinner we opened our present. We had the U/S tech put in a sealed envelope the sex of the baby. It was so special to share that moment with just the two of us.

Now we keep the secret from our family an friends for the entire week. Not all of our family members believed us, that we did not find out the sex of the baby. But we wanted to tell our parents at one time together. The opportunity came on Sunday, February 7th, after a mass for my nana and papa Hiller at breakfast. We served everyone a cupcake and told them to find out the sex our baby you needed to take a bite out of one our hearts. And when they did they found a PINK cupcake!!!! Yes it is a GIRL!! Everyone was so happy, there were even some tears of happiness!!!

We are so excited to meet our little Elisabeth Lou in July!
