We spent the morning and afternoon playing and cooking for the next two days. Well I was cooking and the boys were playing.. :) We started our new tradition this year. I pulled out two books and we read them together as a family. First we read The Night Before Christmas and second was a Special Place for Santa. After the stories Franke opened one present from mommy and daddy new Christmas pj's! We packed up the car and heading to Christmas Eve Mass. What a great children mass. The choir was the kids and the visiting priest brought with him two friends who were present at the 1st Christmas! An angel and the donkey. They told us what they saw and heard and even sang some songs with us. Franke could not stop staring at the puppets. My mom joined us for mass and then we then headed over to my Aunt and Uncles for the Pierce family gathering. What a great time we all had. But that is always the way when we all get together.
