Last week Frankie and I spent three wonderful days up north. There is nothing like spending time up north in Michigan. I just love it!! We drove up to Indian River to see the Cross in the Woods Church and then through Petoskey on our way to our final destination, Traverse City. We had a great time traveling through the 45 Parallel. Did you know that! We are half way between the equator and the north poll. That is why Michigan can grow and produce GREAT Wine! We can even beat the French! We picked out a few Winery to taste their wines, and we only came home with a dozen bottles... We are saving two specials bottles for our Fith and Tenth wedding Anniversary. These bottles age very well. Just like us :) We also stopped at two light houses. We really enjoy seeing and learning about the history of each light house. We saw the Grand Traverse and Point Betsie Lighthouse. Each one is so different and so beatiful!
This was our first trip without our Little Bear! He spent the nights at Grandma and Grandpa Bruneels. He had a BLAST! and we know his grandma and grandpa loved it! We thank you for taking such good care of our bear.
